Default Godzilla (1954)

This Criterion digipak conversion arrives to the party more than 3 years late, but there may be a few folks who can still use it. Made at the request of a fellow Forum member, this re-creation is sized for the Criterion/Scanavo Blu-ray case (3240 x 1900 pixels).

Available at EuphoricFX or send PM with e-mail address.

Awesome Star Wars covers, BigWookie!
here is my latest CBS cover:

Here is a new series I am going to attempt (inspired by Nissen's wonderful covers) based upon the old RCA Columbia VHS boxes:
Blue Thunder:

7th Voyage of Sinbad:

Let me know what you think (I am going back and forth on whether or not to have the original film logo on the spine or to emulate what the VHS spines looked like).

I think they both look great the way they are.

Ok... this is about as professional as I can get. Normally I wouldn't put a barcode (ISBN #) on there due to the fact that this isn't even on Blu-ray. I really like the bottom which I would like to figure out how to do on the rest of my covers with synopsis'. I like this cover, but I feel there is something lacking and I don't exactly know what. Maybe I've been looking at it for too long and don't have perspective yet. I was wondering if any of you have suggestions on what is missing? I'm not going all out like blu-ray logos or anything but something is missing where the synopsis is... it feels lonely Maybe a change of font? or size of font?... SOS...

PS: Does anyone know who also did the La Bamba cover that was true to the original poster?

those covers look awesome stardragon9, I would say try and make them look as close to the original VHS as possible. Have you thought about maybe doing a Dirty Harry set that emulates the old WB covers?

Also anyone considered doing Scream Factory Double Feature covers for
Carrie Original and Remake
The Road Warrior/Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

My take on a VHS inspired Death Wish cover, if anyone has any older Paramount covers they wanna see lmk and I will see what I can do. I also plan on doing some using the Gorgon video template I made so if you see any retro horror covers in that style let me know

I may try and do the dirty harry movies later. As for the RCA covers, it is hard trying to determine what the font is on the center spine. I like the Blue Thunder cover as is, so if anyone would like a copy, send a pm. I am not satisfied with the Sinbad cover yet, so I will keep working on it. Thanks for all the kind words.

Default Silent Running

There has been some (justified) criticism of the art used on the new Universal release of Silent Running. If you prefer original art with your meal, dinner is served...

Thank you RebelPrince!

I'm more proficient on Paint.net and I am using Gimp for the text. Still, I struggle here and there. At least I'm trying the best I can with what I've got

Default The Stuff

I got so frustrated with the back of this cover, I was about to commission someone to finish it for me. No matter what I do it still looks empty! I've done what I can on my part... I think, but if anyone has any suggestions for me whatsoever.... I'm all ears at this point!
