If anyone wants some Blu-steels protectors, let me know. I have 25 Blu-steels left, and 5 SCF2's

So from reading the last 4 pages despite it saying on Steelbook Central that
the SCF1's and SCF2's will fit my Blufans and Kimichi's they will not?

Probably have 45 or so Sealed Kimichi and Blufans Full Slip, Lenti's, and Quarters. What am I supposed to do with these long term? Do people just sit these str8 up on book shelves with Poly Bags. Seems ridiculous there isn't a solution to this.

I fit maybe 7 or 8 of my Blufans in SCF1's but they were usually a tight fit, damaged my WWZ trying to fit one in, which is why I got excited about the SC2's. Still waiting for my order of 30, sounds like it was good I didn't try for 50.
Is it worth trying RetroProtection.com or just more wasted money? And are there 2 different batches of SCF2's I couldn't quite understand, better luck with the newer batch?

RetroProtection.com have slightly more depth. A Sealed Blufans Star Trek will slide in easily....but the top won't close fully. The case is not quite tall enough.

I could not fit a sealed Kimchi or Nova in to either the SCF1s or the ones from Retroprotection.com. Could only get them in if they were open. Again, the Retroprotetion.com ones allow the open ones to slide in that bit easier.

As for the SCF2s, So far, Blufans wise, I've fitted in everything but Frozen. Mine are all open, although, Iron Man still has the shrink wrap on and went in fine. With the shrink though, it make it's look ugly as the shrink gets tugged on as you slide it in with the wider releases like Transformers. I open all mine though so it's not an issue for me.

Nothing unfortunetly, Poly Bag that bad boy and keep it standing straight up on your bookshelf. Just like all sealed Blufans, Kimichi, HDZETA, and Nova Media. They don't fit into anything!!!

First company/person that designs cases those sizes will be Rich $$$

Until then we just get to

I found that Novamedia's fit into SBC SCF1, Blufans fit into SCF2, as do Film Arena. Kimchi titles such as Memento and Iron Man fit into SCF1 perfectly. Kimchi Rush fits into SCF2 but is a little loose.

I've been able to use these for just about any release from PA, Blufans, Kimchi, and Nova, with the exeptions of Her Full Slip, and Frozen UE. Titles such as Captain WS Full slip, The pianist Full slip, Iron Man Full Slip (BF), and etc all fit nicely

Wall-E, Iron man, CA1 fit in SCF2 cases from steelbook-central
scF2 seem to fit Blufan's fine with a few exceptions such as the Frozen UE, Godfather Triology... tripack and such.

Can anyone comment on any steelbooks being scratched being put in and removed from the hard plastic covers? I opted just to try the cheap sealable bags first. I dont love them, but I had heard of one or two peoples steelbooks getting scratched by the blu steels/videogame box protector types.

When I began to collect steelbooks I also bought some of these plastic covers... but, at the end, I decided to create my own-made fullslips to protect them.
You can see them here.

The Steelbook Central SCF2 also work with HDZeta and Kimchi slips. Based on size, do not think they fit Nova or Plain Archive yet. Heard they are planning on making larger ones for these and some of the larger Blufans as well.

Isn't the SCF2 sized for larger steels like pacific rim? Will most like wall-e, ironman, CA1 etc have a lot of play once inside....

I posted about several Blufans on this same page. Only a handful of posts above yours.

I saw what you posted. But, I have a few left over of the retro ones and they don't fit my blufans for some reason. They are really tight to the point where it starts pulling on shrink wrap.

On a side note, I got in contact with steelbook central through eBay and was told they are making a SCF3 that will fit most lentis very well. They actually received one of the samples today. Maybe I wait for those

They'll be thicker but unless they make them taller, the likes of Jack Reacher, Star Trek, and the OABs won't fit. Thickness wasn't my issue with those, it was height.

Your referring to opened Steelbooks correct?
Because we are talking about sealed SB's
If so can people be specific on which Blufans, Kimichis, and Nova Media releases all Sealed you are fitting into your SCF2's.
Blufans: Both Wreck-it-Ralph's, World War Z, Both OZ: The Great and Powerful, CA 1 Lenti, ect.

Thanks,
