future shop got moved into bestbuy so they took over the steelbooks but they will be only in canada

Mmmm I assume Best Buy Canada doesn't ship to the US either. How hard is it just to get some trucks and distribute them south of the border? That's really annoying me.

Nope, I thought the same thing, but it was just coincidence. Dredd's script was actually written BEFORE The Raid: Redemption, so if anything, it's the other way around.

This is a hilarious thread on SpaceBattles.com forums, where a member watches Dredd and flames it for plagiarizing The Raid, but then gets put in his place, post after post after post.

The front artwork is nice (I do like the artwork of this more than Mondo's other work), but the rear and inside don't hit the mark for me.

i actually read a rumor that people that wrote Raid somehow saw Dredd script and copied the idea, it makes it seem like it was the other way around however since Raid was released first IIRC

It was released first because it was low budget and didn't have as much post-production time due to special effects. Dredd's script and pre-production was actually finished before The Raid even began it's pre-production.

I don't really care either way honestly, I think both films kick ass and I've even watched them back to back before.
