Default Hi Everyone

Hello Everyone, My name is Bill and I have been lurking on this site/forum since I got my PS3 back in early Dec. Everyone on here seems to be very helpful to one another and very informative. I decided that today I want to join in all of the discussion. I do electrical work for the company I work for and now I’m in charge of installing home theater systems. I’m helping push blu-ray into as many homes as possible.

My personal setup consists of a PS3, 360 Elite, Comcast HD DVR, (everything is HDMI) Westinghouse 1080p 37" TV and a Sony STR-DG810 receiver. I’m slowly upgrading all of my speakers to Polk Audio.

My Blu collection so far is Planet Earth, Blazing Saddles, Casino Royal, Christmas Vacation, Fifth Element, Italian job, A Knights Tale, Layer Cake, Pearl Harbor, Transporter 2, The Last Waltz, Goodfellas, The Departed, Goal! The Dream Begins and A Scanner Darkly.

My PS3 ID is TheDude059 and I own Motorstrom, Resistance Fall of Man and Oblivion.

The Elite is HDMI 1.2 I believe. Welcome to the Forum! See you on resistance. My online PS3 name is "matthewrounds" without the quotes.

Definitely WELCOME !!! And, your set up sounds strangely familiar... let's see, I have a Westinghouse 37" LCD, an XBox 360, Polk Audio speakers... only difference is I don't have a PS3... my Blu-ray player is currently "en route" from Sony (BDP-S300)... I had the BDP-S1.

Anyway, keep spreading the word of BLU...

The only thing I use my email for is to get updates from here, hd-dvd.com, and AVS Forum. IM has totally replaced email for me.
