What's a "moe show" (Google wasn't helpful)

Anyway, I saw this as it was being simulcasted via Hulu Plus sometime prior (which I was getting free via my friend, but he cancelled it so now I'm sad, but I digress). It's a pretty good show, but less focused on action than Soul Eater is. It's more about forming friendships with a little action mixed in.

"Moe" is the convention/genre which has been dominating the anime/manga industry for the past 5+ years.

In execution it's all those "cute girls doing cute things" shows, and the character designs often employed can be described by the derisive term "moe blob."

Ok, now I know what it is

Well the first 6 episodes are moeish, and the last 6 are more action~y.
The main character seems bi-curious, and can't decide which gender she's more attracted to. But at the end makes a decision. It reminded me a little like how Sakura's friend is attracted to her in CCS. It's also been some time since I last watched the show, so I'm probably not explaining it as well as I could, if it was fresh in my head.
