Got may attack up to 938 from 909 after the whole Uncanny Blade search/farm mess. Should make things a little easier but I think When entering NG+++ the enemies are stronger so really I should be more focused on Defense because even now I can get slaughtered fast with 379 phy def.

Burial Blade has excellent reach. Probably the best of all right handed weapons. It's attack however ain't that great even with decent gems.

How are you only at 10 for strength? I'd work on building that up. Your physical attack will go up with each level & you will find hard enemies a lot easier.

I've thrown in the towel. I deleted Bloodborne from my HDD. It was starting to be a job, not fun, and that's my endpoint. It was, after I got over my initial hissy fit, a great game and fun for a long time. But I need to move on to other things before I start growing another big backlog. Started Alien: Isolation and I still want to play The Evil Within Akumu mode, if I can find the time. I still have Driveclub to give me daily moments of rage.

I've been using Blade of Mercy for practically the entire game, which doesn't benefit at all from STR I believe. Anytime I add a point to STR the dmg on it is unaffected so I never bothered. I am planning on boosting that however after I get access to all the arcane toys I want to play with haha. I think I can defeat the Watchdog with my Blade of Mercy, I was doing some attempts where he was sub half health but he always catches me in some insta gib scenario eventually since it takes a while to whittle him down. Eventually though I'm sure I'll get lucky.

I'm finishing up my second play through of Lords of the Fallen then have to decide if I want Witcher 3 or not. Batman for sure. I'll probably get around to NG+ with Bloodborne but there is really nothing pulling me in. I actually enjoyed Lords more than I did Bloodborne. Maaaaaaaybe I'll pick up Shadows of Mordor

There are gaps in the scaling of all weapons. I'm not sure how many level ups in strength would be needed for Blade of Mercy to increase damage. By the time I got that weapon I was messing around with gems to increase attack power.

Not sure what's up with the bosses. For the youtubers I'm sure in many cases the memory leak was involved, but I found that the bosses can have vastly different behaviors one day tonthe next, and I don't leave my PS4 on.

why do you do this game?

I have 2 now, if only I knew about them in my previous walkthrough, their lecture location is so easy.. oh well

there are 2 in the 3rd layer of the Great Isz Chalice, but I have a feeling there's a catch, is it harder than both the loran dungeons combined or what?

It's the shortest & one of the more easiest Dungeons in the game. You'll get there just fine.

Finally got someone in co-op. Wow, only took since launch of game!

Interesting.. My health was cut, but not cut in half like Cursed Dungeons. Also didn't take look at stats so I can't tell if other skills/attributes were cut.

I was hanging around Father Boss area. We/I took him down real fast. Shortly after I disappeared & back into my game.

About that, though. I think that suggests increasing defense against blood damage, which is wrong. You need resistance to rapid poison. Blood damage is left hand weapon damage. Queen's attacks look like blood, but they are poison. Otherwise, the Queen is the least of the challenges along the way.

I finished NG+ and a little of NG++. So the story is no longer an adventure. If it were Souls, I might have a new weapon from a boss soul I might want to try out, but this is Bloodborne and there are no new weapons. Or I might choose to start anew playing as a spellcaster, but this is Bloodborne, and there is one way to play.

Couldnt have said it better myself. No new armor no new weapons no new play styles. They decided dungeons was their "longevity" to the game.They are fun for a few hours but gets old really fast. Such a shame, had I not already spent 200+ hrs with DS2 i would have enjoyed the First Sin.

I recommend using Lead Elixir with the first boss, since he does a lot of combos and breaks your attacks, LE helped me a lot to spam him

I did have trouble with the queen

the first time I fought her she wasn't that bad, I actually was about to take her, like 1 hit away from the win, but couldn't heal because I pressed up by mistake and transformed the blood echoes I had left to bullets
