[Show spoiler]Stark's probably still funding them as he did at the beginning of the film. Coulson/Shield don't have nearly the funds and resources to pull it off.

Seems the 3D prices right now are just WAGs: Best Buy, $19.99 (less than the 2D); Target, $27.99; Amazon, $39.99.

I wouldn't hold your breath for a release on this. Disney seems to hate special features these days.

Yeah, not sure if likely, but I would LOVE to see the extended cut. The film packs so much story and characters into its tight 140 minute running it could have really benefited from building up the drama and tension with stretching things out a bit.

Regardless though day one purchase!

I feel the same way. I don't know if I'd like the movie if they added everything back into it (remember, sometimes there's a reason to cut a movie down), but I do think there were a few places that could use another minute or two. If they added 15 minutes to the whole thing, I'd be cool with that.

BB Steelbook for me, whenever that becomes available. Gotta keep Phase II consistent.

But Iron Man 3 doesn't have one. Am I missing something?

If this gets Atmos audio, I may finally upgrade.

You're right, my bad. Got an imported one, but after that they've been consistent from BB.

It's already been confirmed that the Blu-Ray will have an extended cut of the film.

Added Walmart link to the OP. And no, no indication of multiple slipcovers yet.

I've looked at the postings on the websites of Target, Wal-Mart and Best Buy....

One thing in common, nothing being posted has anything to do with the Studio or what they will issue include on their release.

Target is sure they will release it 3 ways, DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray....

Without looking at the websites, I could have guessed Marvel/Disney would release The Avengers: Age of Ultron in those 3 formats....until the studio actually announces the title, it is all guessing...
