Oddly enough, I couldn't find the second movie on the DMA website, just the first and 3rd.

I couldn't find the second on DMA either. I wonder if it is because it serves as the pilot for the TV series, or that the Genie isn't voiced by Robin Williams like the third film. Either way, the second film deserves a release if the third film gets a release
[Show spoiler]so that it would explain how Jarfar is dead and how Iago becomes a friend of Aladdin.

It's good practice to have your backup drive be twice as large as the drive being backed up. So I have a 2TB drive to back up the 1TB drive.

BTW loving the cover art on this release. Also Aladdin & Jasmine looks on model compare to the USA release.

I seen on Instagram that Beauty and the Beast (w/o its sequel) got the same digibook treatment style with some cool artwork inside.
This is fan-made by the way. That user has created some beautiful pieces of artwork; the Frozen one is nice, generic but nice.

Hopefully! Cinderella II/III came out only a month after Cinderella, I'm hoping the same would be the case with Aladdin. October for the Diamond edition, November for the sequel bundle.

A small price to pay, versus the thousands of dollars you have perpetually pre-pledged to future Apple products to maintain your access to the non-musical media on the drives.

You mean because of the DMR bullcrap? Yeah I hate it too, I don't know why it can't go DMR-free like the music did. You can buy music on iTunes knowing that you own it 100% due to no stupid DMR. You can freely burn it to a CD, or do whatever you want with it. It's yours. The movies and TV shows aren't really yours, because of the DRM. You don't really own it, you just have a lifetime license to use it. DRM is taking away our rights to own things.

Best Buy pulled their listing as well. Their page for Aladdin, now reads: "This item is no longer available."

So when you pre-order on Amazon and they pull this on you, what happens to the order?

They did the same thing some time ago with WB titles, they shipped on release date. I'm sure the same will happen with this Disney title, it should be fine. Just that new people can't pre-order.

(Also when the WB titles were put back up to order, the price was higher. So those that pre-ordered before they disabled it got the titles a little cheaper.)

Most likely it should still remain as long as the item doesn't change when it's available to preorder once again.

However, when the item changes (such as The Lego Movie 3D becoming the "Everything is Awesome" edition, or Saving Mr. Banks first having preorders as a BD/DVD combo when Disney then decided to make it their first BD/Digital HD combo with no DVD), then the preorders for the cancelled edition are cancelled.

Still, that's unlikely to happen, I doubt Disney will drop the DVD now, as they haven't yet done that for animated films and I doubt they will start with this release.

Disney's probably still figuring out the release date (as I'm sure they want it to be number 1 that week). They have shifted around release dates before with Hercules and Tarzan. But I extremely doubt it would become a DMC exclusive like Hercules and Tarzan were before their general release last August.

I do think it's possible that the Aladdin sequels may be released as DMC exclusives for a month or two before their general release (as it has happened with The Jungle Book 2 and 101 Dalmatians II).

DMC exclusives makes absolutely no sense. It doesn't give Disney any new members, because people know in a couple of months they can buy it without being DMC members.

Excuse my ignorance but what is DRM?

Not all DMC exclusives will see a general release. Most, especially the live action films, won't see a general release and have gold borders to indicate their DMC exclusivity. Still, timed DMC exclusives offer current DMC members the chance to buy a film earlier.

I forgot though that 101 Dalmatians II is technically a shared exclusive, as Target is the only mass merchandise store that has it for now (it will get a general release soon).
