Just seen pics of the Commando release in the regular thread and it's a MetalBox (like Disney used to use) not a FuturePak. I thought that Steelbook sued and had that style of case removed form production?

Oh, so these are not metalpaks after all, as looking at the spine, or back of it anyways, it's not hinged.

So they are steelbooks? I know it says collectible metal packaging on the Commando title in previous post, but maybe BB just decided to call steelbooks that for these releases?

No worries on the pictures, and it was 9.99 plus tax

I wish the Japanese steelbook with non-horrible photoshop hand would've been a Metalpak! Would've hit on all cylinders! I will settle for the steelbook though.

Looking at the pics above, at the back of the spine anyway, it doesn't look like it is a metalpak, more like a steelbook...

It's not, it really looks like an IronPak like someone else stated earlier. I'm kinda shocked to see that kind of spine make an appearance again after Scanavo's epic lawsuit...

I guess I am not aware exactly what the difference is between a steelbook and ironpak. Only have known about steels and metalpaks, though I see now that there is an Ironpak forum. Should this thread be moved there?

That's alright, it appears that everyone is equally confused, lol. Indeed, several threads have been moved multiple times. I think we should wait until we get further confirmation...

If you look at the pictures I posted. The Best Buy sticker says collectable metal packaging. I would say its a metal pack. Its pretty flimsy as well.

That's not a typical MetalPak spine, though. Furthermore, Steelbooks, MetalPaks, IronPaks, etc have all been plagued by flimsiness from time to time.

Wow, very surprised to see the Metal Box/ Iron Pak make a return. I actually quite liked them, the Disney Metal Boxes have some great embossing. I wonder what they are marketing themselves as now? Might have to pick one up to find that out.

Yup, that's definitely not a typical MetalPak spine.
