Considering how the best acting in Episodes 1-3 was done by the CGI Yoda, I think moving to animation might be a good thing.

LoL, funny. I tend to blame a lot of that on the wooden dialogue though from the films. Typically, Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman are great actors, but it didn't really come across in these films. But to me Star Wars has always been more spectacle than brilliant writing and storylines so I guess I've overlooked it. As for me personally, I'll wait until DVD/BD before I watch The Clone Wars.

After much back and forth about seeing this in the theater, I have decided to wait. I don't feel like driving to the theater, wasting gas, dealing with idiots during the movie etc. Plus it'll look better on my home theater. I can wait.

I don't have a problem with them turning this into an animated movie but I do have a a problem with the style of the animation. It looks seriously like a Saturday morning cartoon.

Animation has to be wholly original for me to watch it. Pixar is great at developing a new story to watch.

If it has been done in live action, it needs to stay in live action, or, for me, it ruins the authenticity of the movie. I cant buy into it otherwise. It ruins the whole franchise for me...

Also, Star Wars was and is at least as well liked and known for its groundbreaking Special Effects as it is for the so-so story. The last three have missed that boat on the FX. Now this one will be generated by a computer totally... that was ground breaking about 10 years ago... Garbage.

I hope the true Star Wars fans (not me) are happy with this, because it seems like Lucas is ruining the world Star Wars lived in.

The movie really doesn't look too interesting for adults, probably more geared towards kids with the release of hasbros new action figures.

Personally, I'd like to see a movie or series KOTOR style

No one had the Carpenter's Sense on the set of the prequels...
