I think it's you who needs to do some research into nutrition.
Eggs are Pre-Meat.

And red meat is a good source of iron, for those who have an iron deficiency.

Most people don't have an iron deficiency and iron is in plenty of vegetables and pulses.

Anyways, back to dinosaurs....

Deer carry ticks that spread Lyme Disease, thinning out their numbers helps keep that down as well.

Me personally would never kill any animal, heck I saved a bumble bee the other day, but it needs to be done and nothing is wrong with that.
But let's be honest: People go hunting because they enjoy it. That's the bit I don't quite get.

As a meat-eater, I can't really occupy any high moral ground on this. I would kill an animal if I had to but I'd be sickened by the sight of it terrified or in pain, or watching it die, knowing I'd directly caused it.

It's a bit like if you get in a fight with a human being: If you manage to put them down, that should be the end of it. But some people like to stomp on them afterwards. It's an absence of empathy for another living creature; an act of dominance.

My wife has an iron deficiency, and is a vegetarian, and was advised by her dietician to add some red meat to her diet once in a while. She takes an iron supplement instead. What is a "pulses"?

Pulses are beans and lentils.

Anyhoo...have my fingers crossed for Jurassic World. It's looking a whole lot like a reboot of Jurassic Park, only bigger. I really can't see this franchise continuing past this, because how many times can audiences be expected to believe that InGen or whoever else would build a theme park with dinosaurs, only to see them escape and eat everybody *again*.

The sequels will take the dinos to space. I believe the next one is called Jurassic Universe

It doesn't have to take place at another park. There was an earlier draft for Jurassic Park IV where the dinosaurs managed to leave the island and it takes place in a future where dinosaurs have taken over the earth. A sort of dinopocalypse. That's also a theme in the original novel, where much of the climax revolves around preventing the raptors from getting onto the mainland.

Now that's what I always wanted to see ever since JPIII.

Personally I'm not offended by hunting and fishing, etc. Nor does it bother me that people eat meat, I do so myself. The way I see it, the way things work on this planet we live on is that different organisms kill each other for food, to protect their territory, to protect themselves or their offspring, when competing over food sources or a mate, etc. and I don't think our species is more evil than any other for doing the same thing. I don't think that, from say a moose's perspective, it matters whether it's a human with a gun or a bear that kills it, it dies either way. I think people should be responsible about it though, if a species is endangered we should obviously leave it alone.

On Jurassic World and the potential future of the franchise...

I too would like to see a story about dinosaurs on the mainland, though I'd like, at least to begin with, to see it done on a smaller scale. Maybe raptors and/or other small theropods in the jungles of South America. A "dinopocalypse" as has been proposed could be interesting as long as there was an at least halfway decent explanation for how it could happen. The only thing I can think of is something in the same vein as the Planet of the Apes reboots, some kind of worldwide epidemic that wiped out just enough people for the dinosaurs to spread.

The next movie is Jurassic Hunt. Dinos make it to the mainland and we have to stop them from killing us. Except one guy. He's doing it for fun...

But seriously the first line would work...

I don't care what anybody says--I want to see that "genetically engineered dino mercenaries" idea come to fruition.

In that case I'd rather see a Dino Riders film.

The only thing I dislike about this guy is that he likes to hunt animals and the fact that his wife encourages him by buying hunting kits. I find the thought of killing innocent animals sick. Hope I'm not the only one.
To be quite honest I'm surprised he has got such a bright career right now considering his views and beliefs. He's a Christian Republican gun-owner who hunts and wears don't tread on me t-shirts.
