Wow! The head sculpt on Luke is incredible! I'm tempted but I am not much of a fan of Star Wars.

Now, if they were to do this quality work on some Star Trek: The Next Generation characters... instant divorce on my end! I would NEED them all!

I wonder why Hot Toys has not come out with some Star Trek figures? If they have I have not seen them. I would definitely buy a Mr. Spock and a Cptn. Kirk especially from the TV series.

Possibly, but not in the last 2 or 3 years since I've been paying attention/collecting.

For me though, it would have to be Next Generation or nothing at all.

Yup. Conversion is a killer! Had they shipped it on time (March) it would have saved me about $30. If they had let me pay at the time of pre-order it would have saved me about $60!

You're a dedicated man is all I can say. If I had to pay that much extra for a $225 figure there's no way I would be buying them.

It's only been since around the beginning of this new year tyat the exchange rate has really put a damper on my collecting. Otherwise, I was only seeing a small upcharge due to import fees and 2% on credit card conversion fees. The other 7 or 8 figures I have were almost the same price as listed.

However, with the Christopher Reeve Superman and Marty McFly 1/6th Scale figures, they could have charged me $1000 each and I would not have even flinched. Those are the 2 biggest cinematic influences of my childhood and were unavoidable. The are solely responsible for the spark of my imagination... and it was like a Super Nova when it happened.
