You know, I'd love to try this. It seems like my collection is perpetually stuck at having 400+ unwatched Blu-Rays all the time.

Just not sure how this month will work; I kinda invested in the June BD challenge already, and if I have a Jurassic Park marathon the alphabet order will be all jacked up. I guess I'll start at some point and see how it goes...

Besides just having fun with it the heart of this challenge is watching all the movies you have. I myself have over 400 movies and I know it will take a while to get through them all. I am still going to be watching new releases I get right away like Kingsman and if my friends want to watch a movie I will watch anything and I am going to be seeing the Jurassic Park movies before I go see Jurassic World next week as well.

What happens if you're in the H's, and buy the movie Beetlejuice? Do you have to start over?

Or what about foreign movies that start with a letter not in the English language?

Translate it...then put it where that goes?

Can you give an example or two of movie titles beginning with a non-English character? Just curious.

My own collection begins with titles starting with punctuation:

*batteries not included
...And Justice for All

etc.

...and foreign movies generally get distributed in English speaking countries under English titles, not under titles indecipherable to English viewers.

Don't overthink the alphabetical rule to much. Just put the title your unsure of wherever it makes sense. And like I said before if you get a new release and you want to watch it just do so. The same goes for any movie. You don't have to start over or anything.

My first bunch of films are written up. My scores/review in the first post below the OP. Remember to use spoiler tags as I'm sure not everyone has seen the movies you might be posting about no matter how old they are. It also reduces clutter in case you just want to skim and see scores.

I will try to update the OP with better rules as participants give their input. For those of you joining or thinking about joining thanks for the support. For those not joining you get to enjoy reading about it.

So...every movie ever made gets an "English title" release?

Funny.

But let me go check some of my direct from Russia/Eastern Block flicks to see if all of them have some form of English title...
