Well, just out of curiosity, I checked the Kickstarter as soon as I got in the door at home this evening - and the $100 tier was already sold out - so I'm glad I didn't wait until I got home to make my pledge, and went ahead and pledged from my computer at work, which I'm not really supposed to do...

Countdown to Goal - Kickstarter opened 10AM EDT with a goal of $40,000. After 3 hours, it's at 62% of goal.
EDIT - at risk of being accused of being AnimEigo's press officer, I know a lot of people missed the BGC campaign. This is a shorter campaign - only 24 days to get in this time around.

Haha, I was just coming to share this myself! I think everyone was speculating that this would be the next project, but I'm still glad to see it confirmed.

I pledged $100 towards the Otaku no Video campaign. I'll be excited to see my name in the "credits."

Trailer For "Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade"

Today on Kickstarter, Studio TRIGGER released a backer update for Little Witch Academia 2, officially titled Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade! It included a trailer for the film, and the news that it'd be shown in Japanese theaters starting October.

They also announced that they'd be screening The Enchanted Parade at Anime Expo this year. At the same time, they'll be releasing the digital edition so that backers can view it too.

Lol - the LWA2 Kickstarter began 2 years ago, before the Time of EVE Kickstarter, neoz - I didn't even know you back then...

I had tried to pledge for that one but I missed it by something like 11 hours -it ended before I could get to a computer to pledge for it. I emailed them right away, but they said they weren't going to take any late sign-ups. Boo!

You can order the first LWA (26 min) for about $55, but LWA2 isn't done yet...

No, dummy - LWA2 and ToE started just a month or two apart (Actually, LWA2 started July 8th, and ToE May 28th, 2013, so ToE was first), and that was 2 years ago... unless you're referring to the first LWA Kickstarter...

You are correct regarding the limited edition pledgers that if you wanna snap them up you need to get there asap, but even with those pledges I didn't see any early birds.

When I spoke earlier I was thinking of the regular and premium editions where in the earlier KickStarter (Bubblegum Crisis) there were early birds options.

By the way, did you get to be one of the $70 pledges? Congratulations if you did.

I went with the Premium pledge at $50, although if a more expensive one ($75-$125) came up that had a more fancier package with more bells and whistles then I wouldn't have any problems changing to it.
