Well, Home users will have to pony up if they want the "good stuff".

The very high price for the best of Blu-ray will cause consumers to adopt other technologies. For example, I can produce high quality content, encode it in a 60 Mbps MPEG-2 file, and watch it through a computer, using very affordable software. I would love to master the same content on a 40 Mbps H.264/AVC Blu-ray disk, but I won't because the software to do so is prohibitively expensive for a hobbyist.
