the german set is nearly double the price of the uk set. i hope its something way better than the crappy amazon uk set

I preordered a week ago - looks awesome! Though I'd rather have just 1 statue of the Rex's fighting as a display piece, rather than bookends. Hopefully the final products look as good as the pic, and not cheap like the Jurasic Park ultimate edition set.

If the DE version comes with a Mucklevision statue (similar to the 300 and Godzilla exclusives), Im all over it. I preordered the $84 CDN set and would happily cancel it, assuming it is the bookends.

Trying to figure out which route to go. I definitely want these statues, but I want a steelbook, too. I have a feeling this is going to be pricey no matter what I do. The price came down on the US set to $80, so maybe the German premium set will come down a little? Maybe?

Does anyone know how "limited" the Jurassic World gift set will be. I am referring to the one with the t-rex and i-rex collectible figures. Also, how cheap do you think it will go?

I don't think anyone on this site can answer either of your questions accurately. The "limited" Jurassic Park came out in 2011 and is still available for purchase at Amazon. I don't think anyone knows how low the new release will go although you can purchase this for the same price as Amazon is currently selling it for at Overstock.com and it will be tax free and free shipping. However, you won't receive it on release day like you would from Amazon.

They're a solid build. I'd say the Indominous Rex weighs about 2lbs and the T-Rex over 1.5lbs

Very durable, don't feel or look cheap.

With that weight it has to be plastics or pvc. Was hoping for resin or polystone, but they look quite nice! I'm looking forward to my set arriving in a few days!
