I think I may give this another viewing tonight, I watched it a couple of weeks ago and was somewhat disappointed with the actual picture, it seemed a lot of the scenes were kind of hazy or misty and didn't have that sharpness or clarity, while some other scenes seemed to be overly bright.

Thanks. They used a glow/fog filter probably in post editing to give certain scenes a misty quality. I only notice that some of the times though, and nowhere near the amount of sunglow as seen in 300 Rise of an Empire 3D. The 3D in that was was diminished by all of the overflowing light, cutting into the edges of the characters.
