Not really familiar with Tom Holland. The only thing I've "seen" him in was Locke. According to the IMDB, dude is only 5'8". But that's not unprecedented considering Tobey Maguire played the role in 3 films. And given that most of the male cast members in The Avengers are short, he'll fit right in.

Jon Watts concerns me a little bit. Cop Car doesn't have a lot of reviews, but the ones that are there are decidedly mixed. Then again, I can't put all my eggs in that basket because if I was basing the Russo's on You, Me and Dupree instead of Arrested Development/Community, I would have been really concerned.

But on the other flip side of that, at least those two have had years to hone their craft since their bomb and that could have contributed to an excellent Winter Soldier.

So at this point...I guess I just don't know what to think. MAKE A GOOD MOVIE, WATTS.

I'm quite indifferent currently. No strong opinions on both decisions.

I was quite hoping to see Asa Butterfield in the role, but with all things Marvel, I'll keep an open mind.

Sorry, but I get the feeling this mole will be distracting. I can't look at Christian Bale anymore without trying to look at his mole next to his eye.

Cool! Out of the contenders that have been mentioned, Holland was my choice. Can't wait till we start seeing some rumors about supporting characters; Harry, Norman, Gwen/MJ, Aunt May. And of course the villain. Mysterio please!!
