Meanwhile, I can inform you that in the professional realm (for use in mastering suites in post houses), a 50-ish inch monitor using an LG OLED panel is in the works by a manufacturer. I’m thinking it may suffice for SDR but will have a difficult time doing top drawer HDR…as compared to something like the Sony BVM-X300 or Dolby’s Pulsar.
