For fear of sounding like a fool, how does this game... work? I've avoided this game assuming it was just your usual PVP online game, not that I dislike those sort of games but my internet is crappola. However my friend picked this up and I see there is a "single player" campaign to enjoy but I put that in quotation marks, as the number of enemies suggest to me this really isn't designed for just one person playing alone. He doesn't have any friends to create a party but couldn't work out how to assemble a public fire team either, whenever we stumbled on other players they were like thirty levels ahead with the enemies reflecting that level which meant our only choice was to run. And it seems despite missions being selected from a home screen with advised levels, they all take place on one massive map where anyone can stumble in. It just seems a bit of a nightmare.

It's a Bungie game so if you liked the Halo games, chances are you'll like this. Only difference being multiplayer only for Destiny..

This game works like an MMO. You have open areas where there are a ton of enemies and you see other players wandering about. The enemies respawn here because there will always be players coming in and out of the map. You can team up with them without sending an invite, just by following them around and shooting stuff.

You have other areas during missions and on the maps called Darkness Zones. You will not see other players in this unless you invite them to your Fireteam. A Darkness Zone is an instance, meaning the only way another person can go in with you is if you are grouped together and you can have up to 3 people total in a Fireteam. This is where you will fight bosses and this is where the story takes you. When you begin a missions, it places you on the map in an open area but as you travel to your objectives for the missions it will take you to the Darkness Zones.

Some areas on a map aren't meant for you to go to until you hit certain levels. That is when you will see much higher leveled enemies. The game can be completed single player, you will just run into other players in the open areas from time to time.

Random Weapon reward generator my hinny. I have been playing Destiny for 6 years now, beet Atheon hundreds of thousands of times, found the 7th chest in VOG and never got a VEX. This past Monday, I played VOG with Blu Crew and got my first VEX. I played a few more times last night and got 2 more Vex's back to back.

Benny, I have a new 32 Warlock I wanted to bring through a 32 tonight and I can bring my 34 Hunter or Titan along for a 34. Adam said he wanted to do them also. Sound good? What time?

I plan on being on by 830 cst tonight. Me and Kyle are needing a third guy, a buddy of ours bailed so he can watch the bachelorette!!

I haven't played for like 5 days so if Adam wants to run them, I'll hang out and help too. Shouldn't take to long.
