We will see. The gap between Inside Out and Jurassic World keeps narrowing and there is no competition for families at all over this holiday weekend. I think it will rebound. It for sure won't be either of the new openers. Not even possible for them to reach those heights over the 3-Day. It all depends on repeat viewings at this point. Is Inside Out the type of movie which receives substantial repeated viewings during its run? Doubt it...plus IO skews 75% female just like MM.

I'm sure there are enough people who haven't seen Inside Out yet. Plus the main appeal is families and plenty of them will be going to the movies over the holiday weekend.

Magic Mike won't even be much of a threat on the weekend. I'm predicting a 13 Million Wednesday (could be more) but then a 50% drop on Thursday. It's going to be very front-loaded over the weekend and burn through its audience pretty quickly.

I just finished working on about 20 radio spots for Inside Out that are going on the air starting 7/2 and ending 7/5. Disney is really pushing this for the 3 day weekend.
