When I first heard of this, I was skeptical, thinking it would be yet another re-release of the original Blu-ray. But after hearing it's going to be restored and containing new material, well, I'm happy to hear this!

This is my all-time favourite film. The current blu is really in need of an overhaul. Hopefully this is it. Will wait and see, but the most probable outcome is that I'll be getting it.

Okay, Fox, now you have my attention. New master and new bonus features = sold! I don't care for all the junky swag but to each his own. At least the box doesn't look as oversized as some of those WB collector's editions.

There already is a better master out there on 50GB discs in some eastern European countries.
But those are obviously hard to get.

Why? All Edward did before and after he met her was mess with the bushes. This cover is truer to him as a character.

I've been waiting for a really good Blu-Ray treatment of this film, so I'll probably be picking it up. I'm surprised they're releasing it in October though, since the film's story revolves around a Christmas setting.

As for Burton, this movie is one of a select few that I like, because afterward he went almost completely off the rails. "Nightmare Before Christmas" is okay, but most others just suck.
