I've looked through the boards but couldn't find an answer to this question.
Is the 50% off an order of 10 or more a one time thing, or can I do it again in the future too? Thanks for any info on this |

I have done this several times -- it is multiple use but the expiration date seems to be unclear. Hope that helps.

for now. at some point in the future, and nobody outside of vudu or walmart currently knows when, vudu will pull the 50% discount when the disc 2 digital program becomes more established.
a couple of walmart employees at local store were claiming the 50% off bonus should end sometime this year, but i remained unconvinced they were talking about anything they actually knew. felt more like BS to me. |

![]() you can also take the discs that vudu's program cant read properly and try d2d on flixster and cinenanow. although those 2 services charge $2 sd/5 hdx per copy. for some discs its worth it to visit those sites. you can also attempt to take your unable to verify discs to your local walmart and have them done in person (results may vary here). or you could try and borrow a friends dvd to make up for your version the vudu d2d program cant verify. |

I feel your pain. I don't have a blu-ray drive in my computer either so it makes certain things a bit tougher. On the bright side though, I have seen some pretty decent blu-ray readers and burners for PCs for under $50. Haven't taken the plunge yet though.

I purchased a blu-ray drive recently for the express purpose of Disc to Digital. I tried 9 blu-rays so far and the program only recognized 2. For the rest of them, I got the standard "There was a problem verifying your disc." What a waste of time.

Ugh, sorry to hear that. I was hoping that with a blu ray drive, there wouldn't be such issues.

Silver Linings Playbook The Outsiders Fury Fast and Furious 6 The Wrestler (recognized it as Rocky and said it was ineligible) Prisoners The Warriors The only 2 it recognized were It's Kind Of A Funny Story and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest The other problem is that I've called 4 Walmarts in my area and all of them have told me that they no longer do Disc to Digital in store and haven't for quite a while (even though according to VUDU customer service every store is participating). |
