Seems like most of the "original classics" didn't get a lenticular but got the oval cover such as Jungle Book, Cinderella, Peter Pan, etc. Then all the "newer" classics got lenticular....i.e. Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, and so forth. The one exception to this is Sleeping Beauty.

Since Aladdin is my favorite Disney animated film, i will be dipping multiple times on this. Regular, Target Digibook, Best Buy Lenticular, and if someone does a steelbook, then that too!

I'll likey go that route if it looks better. That's what I did for the newer Sleeping Beauty (I didn't care for the standard cover, even though it wasn't an oval one).

Best Buy recently added a change delivery to store pickup option for placed orders, so it may be possible to change it to store pickup later when it becomes available (note that using the change option won't work till Best Buy is taking pick up preorders).

Just noticed that the listing for the Best Buy lenticular version says BD+DVD+EC. Does anyone know what EC means?

Electronic copy. Once the listing is fully updated it will say digital copy.

Well, I went ahead and preordered the Best Buy version. Though I still plan to pick it up on the store the day of regardless to check for the best slip cover. This is just extra insurance.

Hey maybe if the Best Buy exclusive cover is a lot nicer than the standard one I'll go for that.

Normally I wouldn't care THAT much, but Aladdin IS my favorite Disney movie (and I'm still pissed this didn't come out after Lion King like the original DVDs), I'd rather have a nicer cover. Not a fan of the "oval look" at all.

I agree 100% (though I wouldn't call this my ALL time favorite just one of them)

We should get some kind of BB cover reveal any day now

It's hard to get much worse than some of these oval covers. Let's hope the Best Buy cover is a big improvement.

That would make a great lenticular! I loved Sleeping Beauty's lenticular. It matched the laserdisc box set. What if Aladdin did the same? I'd love to see this as a lenticular cover....

Why should they? It would be nice to show it as bonus feature, but otherwise, not having that song with the original lyrics doesn't make or break the film itself.
