Not a blu-ray unfortunately, but Discotek will be releasing a new DVD edition next year. Probably an improvement over the 2000 DVD.

All Kawajiri anime should get Blu Rays IMO. The guy's got such a "big" cinematic style, even though he always worked in 4:3 ratio.

Bummer but a new DVD could be cool with both dubs and new translated subs and new extras.

Disappointed for no BD, but if it is a significant improvement then I might go for it.

So the new DVD will have extras including UK dub? sounds interesting.

But i hope they really do a BD.

I don't think there's even a Wicked City BD in Japan yet. Kawajiri gets no respect in Japan.

So this isn't getting a BD release anytime soon in the US correct? If so then I'll go for this one since I love the show.

If you thought THIS was trippy...

Has anyone seen the live action version? It's absolutely bonkers, and I love basically every minute of it.

Any thoughts on the quality of the Blu-Ray that was released in Japan?

Was thinking of importing it.

I figured I can find srt.sub titles for it online.

Just wish it was on 50GB disc.

Any thoughts?
