I forgot about Troll Hunter, that was good. But 90% of that movie doesn't look like found footage, I completely forgot that it was.

Thanks for mentioning Cloverfield--I did like that one as well as Chronicle.
I really hate the "shakey cam" movies more than I hate "found footage" ones.

So if the guy whose footage they find could keep his hand still--I don't mind it as much.

That wasn't Fox, that was a Roger Corman production for a German production company,

I'm glad to see your impression of superhero comics is just heroes fighting each other.

As for the film not released in theaters? That was produced by Constantin Film Produktion, who no-one has understandably ever heard of. Fox didn't touch it. Constantin do still own the rights; they produced the Tim Story one and are producing the Trank one. But Fox had no involvement in the 90s film.

It was made to retain the rights to F4, industry insiders said it really wasn't intended for release, just to keep the rights. Avi Arad actually ordered all copies to be destroyed and didn't want it to see the light of day, but obviously a low quality bootleg version got out.

Comics and Comic book movies are pretty much only about fighting , good guys and bad . Sorry I mean the ones I grew up reading , I would not waste my time going to see an Archie or Jughead movie .

Unpopular as that comic run may be, the film undoubtedly takes some cues from the story, however from what I can tell about the story of the film it may yet be an improvement of some aspects of the ultimate version. As I said either way I'm seeing the film and not really because of the ultimate influences, more for the other reasons I noted above. I just wanted to set the record straight for people who thought it didn't take any influence from F4 comics. On a slightly unrelated note, I like the soundtrack, I had a listen to the album yesterday and its quite varied and full of interesting pieces, I like the new main theme its darker than previous but its quite thematic and has a nice build-up, its a bit more understated and less fanfare than other Marvel film themes, I think that suits this version of the team though something a bit more unique and a different tone.

Hello fellas, I just got back from Fantastic 4 screening and it was awful, just awful. If you thought that the other 2 were bad I tell you they are Citizen Kane compared to this one. I went with 50-50 expectation that were shattered after 20 minutes.
The bad: - the script is like written by fanboys, is too thin, the villains motivation is ridiculous, everything feels rushed, no character development whatsoever, and the special effects are boring and weak.
The good: - I can't believe I'm saying this (because trailers made me believe otherwise) but Dr. Doom looks cool.
