Custom Blu-ray dvd case covers

Does anyone know where I can get some custom covers for the cases? Preferrably the ones you don't have to make changes to the size and can print them out the exact size.

I am looking for Heroes season 1 and 2, and a place to buy the blu-ray cases (season 2 has 4 disks.) I have not gotten season 1 yet, but will soon.

hmmm, haven't seen any covers for Heroes yet. Also 4 disc cases are non-existent right now. The best you can do is get 2 2-disc cases and have 2 custom covers for part 1 and part 2. I might be able to help you out there.

go to www.cdcovers.cc

They have covers for Blu-Ray, DVD, various video game covers for different systems that come in DVD/CD/Blu-Ray type cases, etc. (just go to the covers section and pick the format you want covers for).

Sometimes people scan and upload the original covers (including some from other regions), and some are customs. Some aren't that great, but others are really awesome. The quality can vary, but some are done really, really well. Also, keep in mind that while some covers are labeled as custom, some custom ones are not. So if you see several covers listed for the same title, you may want to check each one out. The titles are alphabetized, but as a result, a lot of movies that start with "The" are in the T section, so watch out for that.

Currently the BD section isn't nearly as big as the DVD section, but they've still got some good options (a lot more than just a few months ago).

I actually downloaded 3 hi-res, well done custom Blu-Ray covers from this site just recently and printed them on some glossy photo paper, and they look as if they are the real, professional thing.

And I didn't have to resize any of them for printing either. They printed up correctly, on one sheet of paper, and at the right size right away.

However, if you do download these and try printing them, I would advise doing a low quality quick test print on a regular piece of paper first just to make sure it still works that way for you. It should, but I still advise testing it out just incase.


One cover that I just printed up that I really, really like was a custom cover for TMNT. It looks like it was the real, professional thing. The cover is the actual movie poster (which was much better that the final image used on the actual Blu-Ray and DVD releases), and the side of the box looks better with black being the dominating color, the TMNT logo in green, and it actually has the blue border thing going around it like the Sony/Columbia releases, only with the WB logo in the place where the Columbia logo would go.

But there are several options. And if they don't have what you are looking for right now, keep checking back. New stuff is uploaded all of the time.

I'd watch out for Cdcovers.cc, they have some decent quality copies but most of them are living trash. Go to a good cover site like R1db or 9covers.com or replacethecase.com and sign up. They have minimum quality standards for their covers that are amazing withe awesome artists

look at R1db.com as well. I'm a long time member with a shitload of credits so if you need anything in particular I'll download and send to you.

Yeah, I've seen some crap as well at cdcovers.cc, particularly in the DVD section. So far, from what little I've seen, the Blu-Ray covers have been of pretty high quality. The custom ones that I recently downloaded were awesome and looked as if they were factory made

worm, didn't know you were into custom covers. I've always been interested in custom covers so any help on this arena would be appreciated. If you have some titles already done and can point me in the right direction that would be great.

yeah , been doing it for a while. I have quite a few done titles. If you wanna check them out go to www.R1db.com and look for titles by wormraper. Ask me if you need templates or anything to start (photoshop templates)

I badly need a "The Nightmare Before Christmas" cover. I just had a friend pick this up for me at HMV (store in Canada) and it's primarily french junk on it. Thinking this would be how it was everywhere in Canada I just opened it and just now found out it's only HMV's release that has the primary french print. Anyhow if anyone could point me to a US NBC cover I'd appreciate it.

Plus a Batman Begins & V for Vendetta one would be great....

Click on Downloads, then at the top of the page you'll see a link for hd dvd and blu-ray cover art. Unfortunatly the hd dvd and blu-ray artwork is all together (it goes by title). Some only have hd dvd artwork but there's still plenty of blu-ray. Some are pretty nice. Hope this helps.

basically unless you upload covers of your own or purchase some points there's no way to get them. It takes a lot of bandwidth to host multiple files like that at 3-5 megs apiece with tons of people downloading which is why they require the credits. R1db is in my opinion the best and cheapest. Usually it's about $8 for 50 points (their low end) and you get 50 covers to download and play with (which is actually a lot of covers !!)

Now that I see the points and how they work that's not nearly as bad as what I had thought. I understand hosting costs and such but was hoping that advertisments and donations could cover that a little better as other sites did.

I will agree that I liked r1db's stuff more than the others, but I wish they had like a promo or something where you could get a few free as a trial before putting money into it.
