I have Hobbit 1 and 2 EE 3D editions from the UK with Lenticular front slipcases and pre-ordered the 3rd one just yesterday but if it is cut, I will get the US edition.

It will most likely be identical everywhere, don't worry. The ratings may vary, though, as views on violence and what's appropriate can differ a bit between different cultures. For example, while it's rated R in the US, Germany's FSK (their equivalent of the MPAA) only gave it a 12. I don't think the BBFC have rated it yet.
