Wow. I used to LOVE my Hardlight but after going from a maxed Last Word to a maxed Hardlight, it's like I'm using a potato gun. Potentially the spray and play, not really having to aim, nature is better for taking on groups than the Last Word, but the damage output is so low for anything other than precision, that it rarely balances. If they are huddled in a tight group, you can try throwing in a grenade first, and then spraying the room afterwards but they'd have to be a really bad team to fall for that. How was I doing so well with this gun before?

Also, Golden Gun is so frustratingly frustrating. I don't deny that it's an amazing attack, it does so much damage and only needs to be half aimed, but the time it takes to do the power up animation, and aim, is usually more than long enough for anyone worth using it on to kill you and it doesn't last long enough to pre-emptively power up before you definitely know an enemy is gonna be in front of you. I even tried upping the accuracy with the Gunslinger perk to try and accommodate but it doesn't help, I get maybe two Golden Gun kills per match and how many supers do you get a match, ten?

Use the explode perk and ambush enemy heavy ammo spawn.

I also use it to counter sunsinger and bladedancer.

I think the only thing GG needs is shorter animation time.

Or tracking. It doesn't even need to be like full tracking, but maybe like a Horseshoes style proximity detonation.

Does the explode park actually do anything other than a cool animation? Do exploding team mates hurt other teammates by exploding?

For you Titans out there. I'll have my new Titan up to level 20 by tonight or tomorrow. That means I can start equipping exotics and leveling up gear. I have most of the Titan exotics and I'm not sure which to use first.

I'm leveling up the defender subclass if that makes any difference.

Helm of Saint 14 is a godsend because it blinds enemies who enter your bubble shield.

The Glasshouse makes Weapons and Blessing of Light last longer.

I prefer my striker subclass though, you can't beat Fist of Havoc

Generally I think Helm of Saint 14 (bubble blinds enemies) is probably the most versatile as it is useful in both PvE and PvP. Use it along with the disruptor grenade and it can buy you a good amount of time if you get swarmed, or strategically place it in front of a doorway where tons of enemies come out of (like PoE) and go to work on them.

Next I'd rank Glasshouse next as it enhances Blessings/Weapons of Light. Great for multiplayer.

I'd rank Ruined Wings next. Can never have enough heavy ammo, and even if you're collecting heavy from Xur every week with all those little used Strange Coins, the 5 min. cooldown is a downer. The only thing is, it doesn't always work, and there are times when I forget I'm NOT wearing them and I seem to get endless heavy ammo. Go figure. I'd otherwise rank it higher.

That being said, I've been using Armanentarium a lot, even as a Defender. I like to destroy things but still have a bubble.

I also keep an Insrumountable Skullfort handy. I mainly use it for Hard Crota to restore health when there's an orb available, then switch back to my other armor.

I've pretty much forgotten about all the other Titan exotics. There are some newer ones out there that came with HoW (like ACD/0 Feedback Fence), but the above are the only ones I really use.

The Feedback Fence is amazing. Anytime an enemy melees you, it jolts them with a shock and if the enemy is a low enough level, it'll kill them. Perfect for those pesky thrall on patrol

I didn't even take into account the uses for PvP as I don't waste my time with that aspect of the game. It's far too unfair to even bother with. I'm fine with killing aliens.

I've been meaning to put it to use, but I still haven't finished leveling it, and that's mainly because I keep forgetting that I have it! I guess that'll have to be next on my list since I don't have much else to do until TTK.

I never gave them any thought, but these would be great for Striker, which I rarely play as I much prefer defense vs. all out damage. But this adds a survival element. This might just change my subclass prefs if they're effective enough. Then again, Defender Force Barrier plus these gloves might as well make them the Titan version of Don't Touch Me's. Didn't play much the last few days and I wasn't missing Destiny, now I can't wait to play again and find a good build for these. *sigh*

I went back and forth before deciding on a subclass because I knew I'd probably only ever do one of them. I felt like a bubble would be useful more of the time since I do mostly PvE. I'm sad I can't use the shoulder charge, though.

If they're close enough to each other, explosion will kill the others. Solves the problem of not being able to kill a group with GG before they kill you. One time I killed the whole team in like 3 seconds cause they were all bunched up.
