Just saw this today in the theaters. It was complete trash and bombed so badly. Worse yet is that the director of this hot mess REFUSES to take any blame for this movie's complete and utter failure.

And yes this was bad. Started off decent, but fell off for me once they all got their powers. The CGI, dialogue and last act was atrocious

Fox can continue to make F4 movies and have them disappoint at the box office, and then the rights will go back to Marvel in 5 years I think it is, if Fox doesn't make another F4 movie? Or they can negotiate with Marvel/Disney to give it back.

Marvel doesn't want Wolverine's exclusive rights back, just want him to appear in an Avengers movie.

I sure hope not. Wolverine doesn't really fit in with The MCU Avengers. Plus, he has been at the forefront of all the X-Men movies to the point where it should be called Wolverine and his X-Men. Don't need him coming to the MCU and taking time away from far more interesting characters who haven't had as much screen time.

The FF are the leverage Marvel wants them back and if Fox wants X-men TV rights then they can both get what they want , if Fox wants to throw in a Wolvereen appearance I am sure they will take it but they don't have to .

exactly, which is why I think the MCU has been working overtime since day 1 to discredit this film. I can't say I didn't help tho. I want to see it even if it's bad since I love FF, but I wouldn't mind it retuning to the MCU myself.

They obviously don't have the same rights over the franchise as Sony did over Spider-Man. How often does fox have to release a FF film to keep the rights? What's to say they won't try again in another 5 years.

I do enjoy the original films enough. But they could've been better. I wish Alba had never been cast in that role though.

bingo. Dr. Doom is one of the BEST villains in the entire Marvel lineup and certainly one of the most dangerous. Brilliant, resourceful and with a TON of power to boot.

That is interesting. My question is, can Trank sue Fox for essentially a breach of contract? I would think he could. I mean, if you settle on a deal to make such and such a movie, and then at the last second the studio comes in and says, "Nope, we aren't making that movie" after you already had a hand shake over it, that a breach of contract. And then to top it all off, to kick the director out of the editing room, I mean what's up with that?
