yeah use an HDMI cable, and to be honest, price doesnt affect the quality, so go get the monoprice unless you wanna blow $100+ on a monster cable

i beg to differ my cheap cable from monoprice displayed poor on my XBR with 120. I tried the Monster HD1000 ad BAM, nice solid vivid picture. I bought my Monster cable off Flea bay for 25 instead of BB for 150.

I got my HDMI cable off the ebay direct from China and only payed about $10 that was including the shiping price. And I have the best video feed so price from my xp is not a factor. Then again I'm an ebayholic. so what do you expect

HDMI is digital. You either get a picture or you don't. The fact that your Monoprice cable didn't work for you just means that it is a bad cable; the fact that your Monster cable works means that your HDMI port is in working order.

I got my HDMI cables for less than US$10 each and they work perfectly.
