I hope so. I have the original trilogy steelbook that Best Buy carried a few years ago, so I really want this in a steelbook to match (or at least as close as it can anyway, since the trilogy steel is DVD sized).

I just really want to figure out what the Amazon "special packaging" is so I can ditch one of my preorders. If I don't do it soon I'll forget and end up getting both editions by accident, LOL - while I loved the movie, I don't need two.

why? the soundmixers should go back to the audio and do an object based mix, since early on this was supposed to be a Dolby Atmos release.

the 2D disc should also be a new 4K transfer since it wasn't afforded one since the theatrical DCP's were 2K as both the stereo and the 2D presentation was allocate to - thus negating it to the lower resolution.

I actually did a chat with amazon support the other night to ask this very same question. he advised that the special packaging included these :

Now i kinda find it hard to believe based on the price they sold at. But im also loath to want to cancel that pre-order just in case. Might be worth a few other people asking the same question to confirm if they get the same response.

You won't have to worry about the latter; Universal releases are always region free.

I think Amazon's had a bit of a hiccup. I'm looking at like the main page that tells you how many orders you have open, how long you've been a Prime member, etc. etc. and it's saying my next scheduled delivery is the 13th and it's for this movie.

I don't know why it's saying that but it's obviously not true. I mean, it would be awesome if it WAS but, I know it's not haha.
