Has anyone seen this series? Post whether you liked it or not. I saw it in BB and was curious...

I remember watching a couple of episodes and trying VERY hard to give it a chance.

I could never get into it. Not necessarily baaaaaaaad...just...I dunno...I really don't think they tried and I don't think the principles involved were really fans of what they were doing.

I watched a few episodes. I thought the first episode showed the potential for a good series, it just never really delivered.

I watched the entire series when it first aired. It showed potential but never really got going. I did enjoy it though.

Well, Ashley Scott is in it and she's definitely nice to look at so it wouldn't be a total loss to watch the show once or twice.

I never got to see it, but my dad liked it quite a bit. He likes Dark Angel, Charmed, and loves Smallville, if that gives an indication of taste.

I like it, and was very disappointed when it was canceled. I missed the 2 hour finale because the channel that aired it in my area was just bad and would not have reception every once in a while (it had static for almost a whole year and this is what they were sending to my cable company), it was a WB station but it aired WB 8-10 and UPN 10-12 for their 8-10 shows.

I am watching them through Netflix now. I wish they had a BD release. Its not even anamorphic wide screen just wide screen so I have to use my TV to make it fill the screen.

I wasn't a big fan of it. They had a great idea for the show and turned it upside down. I was like WTF?!

Although, ironically, the unaired pilot included as an extra on the DVD set is 16 x 9.

It was a good series.

I thought it was an enjoyable series. I was actually pretty excited to see that it got a dvd release. That was until I saw that it had changed music and was letterboxed. Is this the mid nineties? Letterboxed? I won't be buying it.

i just got it from netflix but i haven't watched it. i will soon. i think the coverart is awesome, that's what got me to notice it in the first place.

Yes. I have only watched disc 1 (netflix disc 2 comes tomorrow) but I tried it on the PS3 and my regular DVD player and it is non-anamorphic. I wouldn't hold out for a Blu-ray release it just came out in the past month for the first time on DVD and the series aired in 2002.

At first I was thinking he was talking about Planes from WW II. But then realized that series was called "War Birds" or something liek that.

Yeah, to bad this show was cancelled.

Wish it could come back, along with FireFly.

Birds of Prey, what a piece of crap. The only thing that made it even watchable was Ashley Scott, cause she is hot.
