I did have a Christopher Reeve one but I had to sell it To keep my ex wife happy but that all went tits up any way. Wish I'd said no now as it made no difference selling it anyway!

I'm gonna make it my next purchase depending on the price.

I passed on that Superman figure as I am not too impressed with the costume.

Yesterday I had a chest led flex payment for my hot toys Stormtrooper Luke, but they never took any money out of my account. I got my email saying they were getting ready to process the first payment, but no money left. This happen to anyone else before?

Flex pay. My phone keeps changing my typing to weird sh*t lately.

My bank account. I wasn't charged at all.

Posted this in the pics thread. But here are a few thoughts I have on the two figures I got.

Finally was able to take a good look at them today. Didn't notice any quality issues, but no idea how you guys get good poses with Captain America. Really not a lot of give in the clothing for movement, but I did not try real hard for fear or tearing or breaking something.

Also kind of wish there was one switch to turn all the lights on with Iron Man, but I understand why there is not. Noticed a few panels that move on him I did not realize were there from the description online, so thats cool.

Overall I am so ready to move, get my Detolf, and display them.

Does your Iron Man have loose ankles? It's tough for mine to stand on his own without bending his legs and leaning him almost.

Must be pretty common then. I'm not ever displaying him off of the stand anyway, but was hoping his joints were a bit tighter in that area.

Batman DX09 is arriving today and T-800 DX13 is arriving on Friday.

I sure hope the Batman is in "New" condition like the seller said, it was such a great deal, I feel like something has to be wrong with it.

I watched Burton's Batman last night because I'm so excited to receive this figure.

I should've listened. But I also didn't want to pay out the nose for the Marvel figures I wanted. This suit is so restrictive I busted the zipper on his back. You can't even put him in the pose of reaching around to put the shield on his back. If you're squeamish, do not read the spoiler tag.

[Show spoiler]I found out that the white padding under the suit was causing the most resistance, so I pushed the suit up along with the thin rubber covering and was able to cut off and remove the white padding with a pair of scissors. That resulted in a little bit more movement capabilty, but not much. I may remove that rubber next, but it probably won't help.

I tried putting him in one of four poses I wanted, and couldn't do either one. And in looking at some Detolf pics, I've decided not to get Thor and just leave it as Cap and Tony Stark because having three on one shelf will look too crowded. Those are my two favorites, anyway.

Well, got the Batman DX09, and as expected, it's not in "New" condition or "Never removed from box" like the description stated. There was a large amount of dog hair inside the box, I'm pretty sure that didn't come from Hot Toys.

For one, the box was beat to hell, with gouges and chunks, yes chucks taken out of it. The figure itself is great.....except one of the spikes on his right arm gauntlet came off and was laying on Batman's chest. I can superglue that back into place, so it's not too big of a deal. Now I just have to decide if I want to return it, or see if they can maybe give me a partial refund. I just hate that they lied in the listing. I sent them a message, so I guess we'll see what they say. I should probably just return it and get a brand new one that's sealed or still in the shipper, but they're so much more expensive than I paid for this one.

That stinks. You should definitely just get a refund. Don't even bother with anything else. If you bought it on eBay, and the seller refuses to do anything, file a claim. PayPal freezes those funds until it's resolved. It's a striking blow to a seller. Unprovoked and unwarranted, a buyer did that to me recently with a steelbook that I'm 120% positive he damaged himself, because that was flawless and shipped uber protected.

ah that sucks. nothing makes me more angry when people lie on listings about the condition. you get all excited to find out its not mint but average condition lol yes these are really expensive to buy new, im looking for one as well but the prices are putting me off might just wait for batman returns at the end of the year

I would persue a full refund just out of principle! These idiots who try to get away with this need to be taught a lesson. If I ever buy something like that from Ebay, I will also be sure to film the opening and unboxing so that I have proof that I didn't do any of that after opening it... as an added protective measure.

Hey, I tried to sway you to the far superior AoU Cap! Which is now sold out btw.

AoU Cap can pretty much do any poses you desire. Also, when you think about a shelf looking crowded, think of mine.

I'm going to try and fit Hawkeye in there when he arrives. That should be fun...
