Seeing half of the film hardly qualify to have "the best Star Wars film ever seen" title, even as a "probably". No doubt Drew Struzan is a great artist, but what is his taste in films? Did he like Transformers? Saving Private Ryan? I don't know.

Short answer: they basically scaled the Death Star up to the size of Saturn to get the larger than life dramatic visual to work realistically.

No, something about the moon's size and optical trick in the sky.

Basically because it looked cool. I don't believe the shot will be in the film itself, just the teaser they whipped up for ComicCon.

Yeah, but I always remember HOOK in 1991...reporters and set visitors were raving about how amazing that film was going to be...seemingly perfect cast, perfect director for the material, great teaser...Ever since, I've never said a movie is going to be could. I say a movie could be good. It's all about that script, 'bout that script...

If The Force Awakens has the right balance of dark foreboding, and fun...then it'll be a winner.

Anyone else remember that moment when the Hyperdrive on the Millennium Falcon didn't work? That was like...wut?!?! at the time.

My English is really that bad maybe. I didn't criticize him, I said I didn't know his taste. I don't know his opinions with other films. I put my ratings to show how I rate each of the Star Wars films. Unlike Struzan I'm a nobody, just giving my opinion on an online forum like we usually do, never to change anybody's mind. Anybody can agree and disagree and state his own opinion but simply posting "lol" is not a discussion.

It was shown back in April at Celebration but as you say was created solely for the con and won't be used in the film.

It could completely suck and will still be considered "a winner". I expect the pace to be not unlike JJ Abrams Star Trek movies. The new "kids" will handle all the run, jump and shoot stuff and the movie will take breaks in the action so the old cast can step in for glorified cameos that will make fans nearly faint from just seeing them back in character on the big screen. Then, back to more run, jump and shoot. Keep repeating until the overdone climax. It will be hailed in many circles as the best thing since man discovered fire. How's that for cynical?
