No, it's not better. The source was an old DD track for booth, like the most sources for audio. You think if DTS-HD is on the cover it's native

It is not.
Well your 5.1 had same audio in all channels to my surprise when they started talking in my surrounds and your 2.0 sounded very tinny/hollow but no need to debate this. Just my personal view.
