I was able to take down Radiant Warlocks, Unstoppable Titan and be the second to fire and come out on top, don't think I've ever managed to achieve that in PVP. Not under ordinary means, anyway.

I also got two awesome Exotic Chest armours for my Warlock too from Xur earlier thanks to his Engrams, so my Warlock is getting to be a real beast for me. Not a big fan of Sunsinger right now because I haven't unlocked self-res but I love the Voidwalker and I'm sure I'll love Sun once the fusion grenades and res has unlocked.

The Vex is only decent in PvP at close to medium range, and at those ranges TLW and shotguns will tear you up. It used to be the most OP weapon in PVP very early in the game. It was a laser beam that burned you up from across the map. At that time, very few people had one, as the drop rate was extremely rare. Bungie quickly needed the gun, which killed accuracy at distance (which was needed). I never had the opportunity to use one until after then nerf, as it took a couple dozen hard VoG for it to drop for me. After the first one, I seemed to get another every couple of runs to,the point I've had three forever and have dismantled at least another 5-6 more.

This is exactly how my experience getting a Vex went. Didn't have one forever, got my first one, then seemed to get one on every run we did after that.

Yeah I've noticed it's not brilliant at any kind of distance and I am somewhat limited with a combo of the Vex and Shotgun as I'm stretched even at medium range. Luckily there are some good range increasing perks as you move on. I was focusing on stability but maybe I should be focusing on range instead.

I've been 90% out for a couple months since HOW was hugely underwhelming, but I've been dicking around with the weeklies just to stay relevant. with this new info I cancelled my pre-order and deleted all 3 of my characters .. Bungie has no GD idea what they're doing

Also, I sort of feel like you do. The game frequently feels like a chore.

In fact, aside from the new raid, I have a feeling that this expansion is going to be somewhat underwhelming in terms of story.

Like I say, I've got friends who have played only a month or two longer than I and they have about twice as many exotics as me. These sob stories about how long you've been playing are unnecessary, my gripe with my bad luck with RNG was not even the purpose of the post.

I'm not mad or upset that you got a Vex or any other exotic. I'm happy for you. I think it's great. But when you state that you had to wait so long for this or that, it makes me shake my head. You really haven't put much time into the game. That's what you don't understand. You've completed 6 raids, and only 1 of those raids was VoG hard. So I just don't understand where you're coming from when you say you've had to wait so long to get Vex, or any other exotic. I'm not trying to "correct" you. I'm trying to give you a reality check. You really haven't had to wait long for anything.

My bottom line continues to be, as long as my buddies both here and in my clan continue to play this game, so will I.

If these crooks administrating the fiber network ever get service running through it, I will be pretty tempted to come back and play with you guys myself. I'll have a lot of work to do. My reservation would be that it could become like a job again...it was so much like that.

The only thing I don't like is the 200 legendary marks per account. Huge downgrade compared to the 100 vanguard/crucible per character.

That is assuming new things will cost the same marks as they did year one.

Yes, but now you don't have a weekly limit. You can acquire as many as you want all the time after spending .

Because now you'll need to spend the marks as soon as you get them, or you'll be wasting those new ones you could be earning. I don't this as being a problem early-on in the TTK, but probably will be later.

That being said, I'm looking forward to year 2 and what it has to offer. I have fun with Destiny, and that's the only reason to play....to have fun.
