Half the replies in the thread have been deleted. That said, to a point, I do slightly take offense. People were immediately jumping to conclusions that because this man spends his money a certain way he must not do anything charitable. I would go into it more but it would turn political and that's not allowed.

Also either some of you never read Forbes or you have a distasteful look at the wealthy because features like this are common place. I almost bet if it was Martin Scorsese and not a theater designer no one would have said anything.
