Oh Hell yes! Thanks, Walter. One of my most wanted films on Blu-ray. Great Vietnam war movie, one of the best ever made, and certainly the best that many people have never seen or heard of. I first saw it at a friend's house in the 1980s. His dad had it on Betamax and we popped it in the player not knowing what to expect. Needless to say, we became instant fans.

Set during the early phase of the Second Indo-China War before the U.S. committed significant ground forces, Burt Lancaster gives a powerful late-career performance as a U.S. Army military advisor to the ARVN. He is tasked with leading a small group of advisors and South Vietnamese soldiers in reoccupying an outpost that had once been used by the French. The title Go Tell the Spartans gives us an idea of what they find themselves up against.

I think Scorpion are running a competition to see if this or Saint Jack notches up a record for longest time between being announced and actually turning up.

Well on SAINT JACK, we added a new commentary, and we are hoping to add more content to this great film, as we are working with Ben Slater, who is an expert on this film.

At this rate, maybe 92 IN THE SHADES will beat both of them, as Mr fonda has not returned our request for an interview for this, nor several of the up coming Kino titles.

Yes, the same reason how MOVIE MOVIE was scheduled for Nov, but now been delayed as well.
