For the past couple of years i have wanted to buy a mac notebook. At the time i was purchasing my first notebook for college it was to expensive so i went with a $700 sony vaio. I was not happy with it and although i have used windows my whole life, I am not the biggest fan of vista. I recently sold my sony vaio ($500 not bad) and I have another $300 saved up from selling my ipod video and some ps3 games. I found a Mac for $800 that is the newer macbook that one of my cousins friend is selling.

I dont know much about notebooks and I would love to hear your suggestions about mac and if these specs are alright

first thing is, You well not be able to use your avrage programs with mac

its an entirely new world of computing, an anoying one too, worse than trying to learn vista
a 100gig hdd? thats lame and a 13.3 screen? ehhh.
