i am using a sony 3300es and its outputting at 4ohms. It outputs 100watts per ch at 8 ohms but the specs dont say the watts for 4. http://www.sonystyle.com/wcsstore/So...fb1c7cb349.pdf here is the owners manual, info on the equalizer is on pg 74

hmm.

well, i'd check to make sure "night mode" isnt on. that can funk up some things since it lowers the overall output significantly depending on the receiver.

also, i'd check to see what your speaker size is set to in the gui. sometimes that can cause some weird things.

and lastly, i'd check to see what your individual speaker levels are set to. if you did any changing to the levels, id suggest just setting all levels back to default.

thanks for your help, ill try all that. By the way when i have the volume at 0 it is loud, very loud

Is "0" the loudest that the reciever goes up too? Not +1 on upwards?

could it be my speaker wire, im using 12guage in wall wire from monoprice with monoprice banana connectors
