Deleted game to see what's in store?
PSN added a "Choose a Version" when downloading digital. Isn't very clear but I choose the version that did not have the "purchased icon" on it. The version I choose was the "Free" one. Hopefully that fixes the digital pre-order mess. Edit, Yep, No counter. ![]() |

I know you control the flashlight and obviously make the quicktime decisions, but how much do you actually control the characters movements like a traditional game? I get scared to death when actively playing any game with exploring dark places, but I'm good when I passively watch others so I'm hoping Until Dawn is somewhere in the middle because I love the story and how cinematic it looks

What bugs me is when I have a few directional choices & I want to explore both areas only to met with a cutscene which takes my character out of the "collectable" area. I've been taking my time with this game taking in all the sights & am constantly impressed with how well this game turned out with visuals. ![]() ..but I have noticed character gameplay can get awkward or unresponsive when trying to perform simple task such as walking in a certain direction & then the camera changes.... ..or aim you flashlight or whatever you have up, down, left, right only to see the character do nothing. Only once did I find an interact bug. Pressed X around 15 times before the character picked up an object. I'd also hit up the dev team & ask them why you have to hold the left analog stick all the way to move your character. Basically the dead zone sucks. |

From what I read. Collectible remain with you. There is a chapter select but it is a little different. If you use chapter select everything will based off you first run through up to that chapter and you have to use resume game from then on to keep any difference chooses you made. So if you make a different choose in chapter 6 you can't just skip to chapter 9 to see the difference you have to play the whole way through. Also once you finish the game all your decisions go back to your first play but all collectibles stay with you.

Oh, really? So if you select an episode to change past choices, they won't permanently remain? I wish they would allow you to save more than one playthrough. Most other games allow this, don't they? If a friend comes over and wants to play, they have to overwrite your game with their new one. I don't like that.

I got tempted and went back on what I said and opened my game up. I regret it now. So far loving it but I have no time to play this with the SFV beta ending soon and Im really trying to complete side stuff in GZ in anticipation of getting PP. Im gonna put UD down and revisit it in a few weeks. Luckily i didnt get too far (2nd chapter)
