I believe they said that the movies will be released after the entire series.

Ah, I totally forgot about Kaze. My bad! That being said. it's been mentioned to them that they're using the Italian version, and they aren't denying it.

At least they aren't trying to market a bad upscale as a legitimate HD product. Madman are being honest with the fans that no HD version of the series truly exists.

If I remember correctly they said they would not be releasing it on bluray because the hd materials simply don't exist and they didn't want to end up in the same situation where they had to make an inferior hd product.

Then there's all their questionable decisions, PR problems (Senran Kagura being the most notorious, and most problematic), decline in disc art, filler box art, items in LE's being a super rare thing now, and plenty of other things. Let's not forget their simulcast subs, or the two big screw-ups they've made this season. Snow White with the Red Hair, they uploaded one episode with the audio from NEXT WEEK'S episode, thus leaking it a week early. Ranpo Kitan had this.

I call bull on this. Yes, I know they have some issues going on, but if that guy even worked for Funimation, that is his perspective. We don't know what exactly he was doing every day he worked there or what. I can tell you that the people who work there do care about the products they release and try to do the best they can with what they got. People have gone out of their way there to please the fans.

That's of course up to you, personally though if they released something I really wanted and that was the only way to get it, well... I'd get it. Provided that particular release didn't have any major quality control issues, of course.

Honestly, if we boycotted every company that did bad things to their staff, we would never buy anything.

I know people who work for Funimation, and yes, I know there are things they do not like about the company, especially in the last few years, but they all do care about the products they put out.

I can't even say that. They put so much work and effort into their releases, especially One Piece, that I can get by without the office politics.
