Best Buy Canada has posted an image of their exclusive packaging with t-shirt and metal tin.

http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...qOXK7GkXrkb9Rw

Still waiting to see what the Amazon.com packaging looks like.

Here is a bigger picture of the 3D Round Tin, aside from just being in the tin looks like the discs will be housed in some kind of round sleeves with artwork on them. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Jurassic-W...d-Tin/45630808

It will be the same round tin minus the T-Shirt.

Bleh. All I want is the standard 3D release, not this metal tin nonsense. For whatever reason, Amazon does not have the standard 3D version available for pre-order. This has to be one of the most convoluted Blu-ray releases in recent memory.

That still goes to Oz: The Great and Powerful if we're talking about 3D.

I just visited this thread to see what was going to be available for Jurassic World... read like the last few pages... and can I just say...

What is happening??

I want nothing of that "round tin".

Edit: Looking at the blu-ray.com listing, I'll be picking up the regular version!

Yep, looks like the regular 2D edition for me as well. No need for 3D on this one.

I LOVE that Hammond GIF! Perfect for this thread. I just CANNOT comprehend how there will most likely be NO steelbook for this movie! I mean, Furious 7 got one. Hell, even 50 Shades of Grey got one! This is the biggest movie of the year; #3 of all time! Where's our steelbook?!?!!?

Since people seem to love cutesy packaging, Universal just thought it would be a great idea to release the biggest movie of the year in their crappy circular tin.

On the one hand I love the blue logo for this film, on the other this packaging isnt very practical.

I'm very curious to see in-hand pics of this.
If the emboss is that deep, I'm in on it!

Perhaps the circular tin will come with Jurassic mints that one can enjoy while watching the movie?

If that 3D tin is $19.99 or $22.99 release week, I'll go for that over the standard 3D.

You know what? I don't like the idea of the tin at all but if it's 3 dollars cheaper...I'm in!!

Same for me. Saw it opening day, in 3D RPX, at my local Regal. The 3D was pretty non-essential, non-existant almost. Just a way to sell higher priced tickets.
