I made these a few months ago. If anyone's interested in them send me a PM. The resolution in the files below is significantly reduced.

Cheers!
Steve

Those look great. They have the feel of what the studio would have done if they'd used the posters, which they don't do for obvious reasons.

Since we're on the topic, I recently decided to combine all my Star Wars DVDs into a 40mm case. Obviously, this isn't for Blu, but whatever. I don't know if I'll ever watch the prequels again, and as far as I'm concerned, Star Wars and Return of the Jedi have never come out on Blu-Ray.

If anyone cares, I did custom covers for the Prequel Trilogy as well. PM me if you want them.

Yeah, but I'm not buying the movies again until they give us the unaltered ones.

Has anyone ever done covers to replace the abominations that are "Near Dark", and the original "Last House On The Left"? Also does anyone ever do separate covers for unrelated two packs....etc. The 80's comedy "Men At Work" is coming out in a two pack with another film, but Men At Work is listed 2nd, so I'd lose it in my collection filing it by the other films name. Probably OCD, but I like to do things alphabetically. And I hate movie packs that have unrelated films piled together in a 2 or 4 pack. Rant over

I did those covers just cause I need to save some space. I don't have the bonus material discs, so I doubt it that I will create such cover.

I think you should wait for more photos. It's JJ Abrams. They problably are showing us totally irrelevant scenes now and the ideas for covers will be much different in december. But I do like it. It's very clean. Looks fresh. Would love to see that take on previous movies.

I would skip the numbers of episodes though. Fanboys know which title is what episode, and some people will not but prequels so it will look alright on the shelf

My whole Star Wars set is on a complete hiatus as of now, the general consensus on my Work-In-Progress is that it's not quite right for many reasons. I'll come back to it when I get the right idea for what it needs to be.

I appreciate everyone's feedback, it's been very helpful towards the entire project.

Thanks but I think they hold up with the episode number. If the discs were of the original trilogy UNALTERED I most likely would have gone for just the titles of "Star Wars", "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" as they appeared on their respective posters back in the day. But those movies, sadly, do not exist in their original forms and are now referred to their Episode numbers in the grand scheme of things. With that said and for the sake of consistency with the Prequel Trilogy which has always included their Episode numbers I applied it across the board. If we're ever lucky enough to get the original, unaltered trilogy on blu then I would certainly revise the title treatments and drop the episode #.

Has anyone seen the MAD MAX ROAD FURY artwork book? there are some pretty cool images in it that would make great covers.

Default Monsters, Inc

I have just purchased Monsters, Inc. for import (Spain) so I have to make the covers for this as well as Tangled. If anyone has made either Monsters, Inc. or Tangled, please let me know because I'm sure I can't do better.

Alternate?

Default More American Graffiti

Universal has released the sequel to American Graffiti in Europe with cover art that is somewhat cartoonish, but I guess a sort of style like the art for the first film. To each his own but when I got the disc, I knew I had to make this because I freakin' love this art, and have since I first saw it years ago...
