i have a hunch this will pop up back in stock next week, bestbuy is probably holding back whatever stock until then so they can sell it at the $29.99 price

This only happens because any 'preorders' that aren't picked up for whatever reason and they are released at the current price. With the standard return policy thats after 15 days. Yes that means after the sale weekly price... so yeah you'll pay more lol

And yeah if bestbuy is 'restocking' it takes more then a week for them to gather whatever is out there. lol Just saying, not defending them

I just received notification that the order I placed yesterday afternoon has shipped. Should have it in a couple of days!

I thought they were only shipping to stores...didn't know people were able to ship it to their home...I tried that and it wouldn't allow me to do it and was only available to be shipped to stores

I learned my lesson with this one...next time a retailer exclusive comes up I'm going to pre-order right away instead of expecting it to be available in stores on release day

There was a brief window of availability yesterday (about an hour) where the site was allowing orders to be placed for shipping. I had to constantly refresh the page until it showed "Add to cart," but it looks like I did it just in time.

Went to BestBuy to pick up my online ordered and was a bit doubtful from all the experiences im reading on previous steelbooks in which eventhough you had a preorder you would still have to get the item from the floor, but glad that my Bestbuy had my copy ready to be picked up

I bet WB will end up re-releasing this steelbook as a non-exclusive down the road like they did with the exclusive Batman Begins and The Dark Knight steels

I've got a tracking number (shipped via UPS), but it's not active yet. It will probably show some movement later tonight. I'll keep you updated.

I was able to sneak in an order. A few hours later I received the email that it was back-ordered. However, I just checked the status: "Preparing your item for shipping"
