Is the new Fantastic Films of Ray Harryhausen set region free or is it Region 4?

The dvd will be region 4 but the Blurays MIGHT be region free. Listings show Region B but not seen any confirmation. It's licenced by Madman so could go either way

Any update on whether the Blu rays are region free or locked to B? Cant find anything that confirms, or denies, that it is region locked.

I've got a Region A and a Region B player. When my Aussie set arrives I'll try them out on both and post here to let you know.

I ordered my set from there and it's now £5 cheaper.
This site has updated their listing to say its Bluray All Regions.
What the Region 1 and 4 notation is about I don't know.

I suspect the Region 4 notation is for the DVDs.

Yes but why mention dvd regions on a Bluray listing. When I ordered this collection the cover picture on the listing was wrong but I emailed them about it and they've changed it.
I was unsure if the listing was correct because it's very cheap compared to other retailers and the dvd mention made me wonder if something was amiss.

I expect I'll find out in a few days when it arrives.

I assumed this set comes with DVDs also, but looking around the web, no reviews mention DVDs with it..... very odd.

Their region notations are off on several titles, so I'd hold off on confirmation unless you have a region free player.

Sorry, I keep forgetting to post this but bought this set from JB Hi-Fi in Australia and the case says region B but I tried each movie on my region A/1 player (a Cambridge Azur 752) and they all worked fine. I tried a Beastmaster BD from region B just to make sure and it did not work so you're all good to go to get this set!

FYI these are just 4 separate bds.....no dvds included.

Sorry, I don't own a PS4 and don't have access to one. Have there been incidences where a region free bd hasn't worked on a PS4?

To my knowledge, they should work great. Only homemade BD-Rs don't seem to play all the time on the PS4 or Xbox One.
Madman Entertainment is a great company, their worst quality is that they are not always consistent on their region coding. Sometimes region free, sometimes locked to B.

The DVDS are region 4 locked. So you will need a PAL unit to play them.

Single case with 4 BDs. Nice packaging but the BDs don't seem really secure. Also, these discs are identical to the Sony and Twilight Time releases, including the TT isolated tracks. Great discs...
