Just a heads up to those wanting to get Body Double on Blu-ray. The Australian Blu-ray looks to be from a different master than the Twilight Time Blu-ray.

The colors are completely different and look very much like the colors on the special edition DVD. There are also lots of halos, print damage and everything looks sharpened. If I were to bet, I'd say that this is an old non-4K master that was used for the DVD and Twilight Time's is a new scan from Sony.

According to Criterion's info both The Confession and State Of Siege were transferred on an ARRISCAN, a scanner which has a 3K sensor, so while the end result was technically a "2K transfer" it was still oversampled from 3K at the minimum and output to 2K on the fly. (I say "minimum" because the ARRI can also use microscanning to double up the res to 6K, from which it can output downscaled 2K or 4K.)
