Hi Adam,

What are the chances of these getting a UK release:
Cart, Whistleblower, When A Men Loves a Woman, Scarlet Innocence, and A Hard Day.

Also,

Personal Tailor!!!!!!! i loved this movie.

'hard day' has had a UK DVD release from another company >

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hard-Day-DVD...dp/B00MBORLCI/

... and personally, 'whistleblower' is close to a TV docudrama - not great, not bad.

Wasn't a big fan of Personal Tailor at all. Much preferred How to Use Guys with Secret Tips, and that wasn't a big seller, yet with Personal Tailor one of the most expensive Korean films of the last few years it's hard to justify acquiring such a major title when the directors better and cheaper title couldn't sell...

Cast and Scarlet Innocence are good, especially Cart which, if it could get a theatrical release and review could do well, but since it's proving impossible for me to get titles like LOVE & PEACE, RUINED HEART and UZUMASA LIMELIGHT into theatres, plus WORLD OF KANAKO was impossible too, i'd imagine that it's not going to happen...

though it's unfortunate as those are all good titles, but soon (if not now) available from yesasia with english subs i'd imagine.

Can't believe you don't like personal tailor. How to use guys is good but it's still
made within the romcom genre and predictible, personal tailor is crazy brilliant stuff.

Came across this old IV with Tsukamoto. Shame it's so heavily edited.

I'd really love to see him tackle a Godzilla film! His influences ranging from Kurosawa & Inamura to Scorsese really come across with his kinetic style.

Really looking forward to A Snake of June.

So keen for Snake of June. When I watched the trailer I couldn't help but think "so this is where Mann got inspired to paint Thief blue..." Of course both films look beautiful with that colour scheme in my opinion but Snake of June actually was blue originally

Here's the Ruined Heart final sleeve.

This will be a LIMITED EDITION 1000 only set which will be blu-ray only with soundtrack CD, 16 page booklet and cardboard slipcase.

Extras feature the director's 15 minute original Ruined Heart short film which played at the Rotterdam Film Festival a few years back, alongside music videos and special 'music commentary' which will have a live-recorded score by Stereo Total to accompany the film.

Will be a great edition!

Dec 7th release

Haven't even heard of it, but I've pre-ordered nonetheless. I've yet to be let down by something TWF have released on BD. As it's above £20 I can order it now on Amazon too with free delivery, and hopefully it'll drop a bit below £20 prior to release. Although as it comes with a soundtrack, I expect it'll not drop as cheap as most TWF releases.

it's very experimental. Not really any dialogue, just music and craziness!

The price should drop once pre-orders come in as the RRP is £22.99 which means that once it gets popular before release Amazon will drop the price to encourage more pre-orders

though i don't think i'll drop the price at all for its release as it's costing me a whole lot of money to prepare as need to pay the music rights costs for the soundtrack (great soundtrack!) and have the booklet and all. Will be similar to New Directors from Japan in that case where it will just keep its price and then go OOP.

I'll take that and that, and that, that, that, and that.....

So much stuff to get and watch, but so little time and money.

According to the LFF, where the film is having its UK premier, Third Window are down as the UK distributor for Sion Sono's LOVE AND PEACE ("a tale of punk rock and talking turtles") which is pretty rocking. I wonder how long it will be before it hits blu-ray?

Chucked my pre-order in but I hope it drops a bit. The exchange rate makes it a pretty brutal buy (about a $40 purchase not including shipping). Still, this looks right up my alley and I'm glad you're putting a lot of effort into it.

Is Dolls still coming? I see there's a German BD announced for November.
