Ready to move onto whatever the NX is. Though I see the NX having a Fall 2016 release or early 2017.

Ready to move on from a system that hasn't even been on the market for 3 years yet? I for one hope to see Nintendo support the system to the industry standard 5 years minimum, so a NX release of Fall 2017 would be fine by me.

I'm only ready to move on from it as it seems that Nintendo is ready as well. Chances are that Zelda and maybe Pikmin 4 will be the last major Nintendo games for the console. No reason to keep the Wii U alive if Nintendo is done with it.

Let's face it, we buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games. Once they are done with support so am I.

Well, Nintendo has always released their successor systems 5 years after the one before it, exceptions are Wii -> Wii U and NES -> SNES, which were 6 years. It also always took them at least 1 year from official announcement to release. So I'm expecting a 2017 release.
